Easy basil pesto with pine nuts and parmesan
This super tasty basil pesto recipe is really quick and easy to make. It goes great mixed with pastas or grains and can also be used as a dressing to liven up your salad dishes. Easy peasy pesto
Easy basil, pine nut and parmesan pesto
Ingredients
- 1 garlic clove peeled
- 20 g fresh grated parmesan
- 100 g fresh basil leaves
- 20 g pine nuts
- 100 ml olive oil
- Pinch sea salt
Instructions
For easy peasy pesto:
- Pulse the garlic, pine nuts, salt and 1 tbsp of the oil in a processor. Add the basil leaves and lightly pulse until roughly broken up. Gradually add the remaining oil with the processor on low. Gradually add the parmesan until you’re happy with the colour and taste (you may not need all of it). And thats it, pesto done.
